Alaska was such a key part of our pregnancy and birth experience! She has such a wealth of knowledge around all things related to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum that she shared with us over the course of several educational sesssions leading up to our birth. She also does a great job of creating a sense of community among her clients. We really enjoyed meeting up with other expecting couples throughout the course of our pregnancy to share experiences. I can't imagine going through the actual labor and delivery experience without Alaska's calm and confident presence. She was ready for anything as we moved quickly through the different phases of labor. Once our little one arrived she was immediately able to coach us through getting that first latch, and practicing different nursing positions. And in our post-birth follow up visit her encouragement and advice related to lactation set us up for a wonderfully successful breastfeeding journey. Can't recommend Alaska enough!
