I felt quite confident in my pregnancy and therefore was not expecting a very dramatic labor/delivery. From having a week of false labor signs leading up to 41 weeks - my texts to Krista became helpful and necessary to determine what to do and she probably saved me three unnecessary trips to hospital. This being our first baby - my husband and I were very clueless in the hospital so having her there to gently make suggestions and to support us was really valuable. She provided me and my husband endless support, relief and comfort during the intense and rapidly escalating labor. Our little baby needed some help after he was delivered and it terrified my husband and me. Having Krista's emotional support during the babies first hour of life and after for debriefing and follow ups was so key in me processing everything quickly and in a healthy way.
