Testimonial for Heather Karlson (DONA)
My husband and I cannot imagine labor of our first born without Heather. We were able to labor at home as long as possible (40 hours??) because of constant communication with Heather and her support in progressing labor with lots of creative positioning. Heather ultimately helped us make the decision to go to the hospital (we really needed help with this decision!) and was by our side as soon as my midwife broke my water. Heather was such an amazing and important part of our birth team, she fit right in and offered constant support and cheerleading and made us feel really comfortable (as comfy as possible during labor lol). Having Heather by our side was so wonderful and the best peace of mind for my husband and me, we are eternally grateful!
