I hired Jackie to support me in my home birth in 2023. I was looking for a doula who would be supportive both emotionally and physically, with a focus on helping pain management. Jackie has such a calming and comforting energy about her, that it was an easy decision.
When I first hired her, I was focused on the support I’d need during labor, but she played such an important role on my birth team during my entire pregnancy. She was so knowledgeable about ways I could stretch and move my body to get baby in the ideal position for birth, would check-in to see how I was feeling, and would answer any questions I threw her way.
When it came time for labor, Jackie was swift in getting to me as soon as possible and was so supportive during labor. After baby arrived, she was amazing in helping me and baby get settled and made sure we had everything we needed. Jackie was also an amazing support person during postpartum, checking in on how I was feeling and answering any questions I had. It was really such a pleasure working with Jackie, and I’d recommend her a thousand times over!
