I made the decision to hire a doula pretty late in the game (somewhere in my third trimester). With that said, I still saw so much value in having a doula in my corner - especially Jean! She was so kind and patient through every step of the process. She sat down with me and my husband and went over all of the possible outcomes, hurdles, or suggestions that could be thrown our way at the hospital. It really opened my eyes to options I didn't know existed. Jean was there for me both physically and emotionally and it was really great to have her around, as much as I love my husband.
