Laurie was such as fantastic doula for our family! I took a doula course from herin 2019, and was so excited to learn that she was available for my due date when I found out that I was pregnant. I ended up being unexpectedly hospitalized at 28 weeks, and remained in the hospital until I was induced at 35 weeks. During my hospitalization, Laurie provided both emotional and logistical support for my husband and I. I encountered several decision-making points during my hospitalization for which her support, expertise and advocacy were critical. It was such a huge help and comfort to be able to reach out to her for information and perspective.
