I always knew I wanted a doula as a part of my birth team. As someone who grew up playing lots of sports, I figured I had a coach for most of my life, why wouldn't I have one for one of the biggest efforts I was going to ask of my body? I feel so blessed to have found Sarah to be not just a coach and support in this process but a friend. Sarah's calm spirit coupled with her expansive knowledge and clear communication made it easy for me to relax my mind both prior and during my birth. My husband was able to focus on me and our baby knowing Sarah was there to handle everything else. She also was a huge comfort to my husband during this process as this was our first child and first birth. They worked together as a team to support me and our baby. I couldn't have asked for a better birth experience with Sarah by my side.
