Sanyika and I met at a doula training before I had kids and immediately connected. We both grew up in NJ, which was a plus, but she has the kindest heart and demeanor and I knew she was someone I wanted to stay in contact with. Fast forward 2 years, I got pregnant with our first babe and she was the first doula that came to mind. Sanyika was created to be a doula- she’s warm, strong and knows exactly when to step in or when to step back and let you do your thing during birth. She brings the party when it’s time to move and she holds quiet space when you’re going deep. And now we have the pleasure of having her support during our next birth experience!
