I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience with Rebekah was in the months following the birth of our baby. Rebekah came to meet with us prior to our child's birth and we immediately knew she was the right fit. She stopped by for a short visit at the hospital, to check in on how I was doing, to meet our little one, and to drop off pastries, something incredibly thoughtful and needed at that time. She was knowledgeable and always had helpful and supportive advice and suggestions but never made us feel like our decisions or thoughts weren't what was right for our family. She provided incredible care for our son; I absolutely never had a second thought about his wellbeing when he was with Rebekah, I could see how genuinely she cared for him. Rebekah also helped us keep our lives together in the hectic, stressful, and wonderful postpartum time by doing miscellaneous things around the house, things which we didn't ask for but Rebekah knew we needed such as laundry, dishes, and making several incredible meals. Rebekah supported our family both during overnight shifts as well as during the day, both of these types of services were invaluable in their own right. Rebekah was a critical piece of our support system and community and my transition into motherhood would have been so different, and much more challenging, without her gentle support. Rebekah is incredibly skilled as a postpartum doula and I cannot recommend her enough. She allowed us to spend our time and energy focused on our little one and helped us down the road into parenthood.
