After interviewing a few doulas, we choose Cindi and couldn’t be more thankful. She was recommended to us by a friend as well. We had a wonderful experience with Cindi and wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. Meeting with Cindi prior to labor taught us so much about what to expect, how to handle situations, and ideas of what to do during each stage of labor. It was also great having Cindi a phone call away to ask questions to prior to labor. Once I was in labor, we kept in constant contact with Cindi, including late at night and early in the morning texts, as she gave suggestions and recommendations to ease the pain. When Cindi arrived, she was one step of ahead of us in all aspects which made labor easier. Although our birth plan didn't go as planned, Cindi did everything she could to help us stick to it as much as possible and tried every avenue before moving in another direction. She was our voice of reason and helped us make difficult decisions. We ended up having a c-section and not only did Cindi stay the whole time during the procedure, she came to the recovery room to help me breast feed and ensure we were recovering well. Cindi's post labor in home visit was also beneficial as she helped build my confidence with the baby and ease my worries. Cindi is an angel and was a true blessing to us. We would highly recommend Cindi and plan to hire her in the future again.
