Kim is an absolute wonder. We just wrapped up our final visit together after I delivered my baby and the overall experience of having a doula has been a highlight of my labor, delivery, and postpartum journey. Kim is attentive, kind, and motivating. She is an advocate through and through, regardless of where the labor and delivery journey took me. My birth did not follow my exact birth plan but she was there the entire time to listen to me, and help guide me and my husband through our decisions. In the end, we had our baby, the way we wanted to, even though our journey wasn't exactly as planned. Kim is a clear communicator and honest but never loses her empathy - she always checked in to make sure me and my husband were okay during our journey and always supported our decisions. I truly am not sure how people give birth without a doula but especially without someone as wonderful, competent, and kind as Kim. I'm not sure when I'll be ready for another baby or how that journey may pan out but I am definitely sure that if I ever decide to embark on that journey again, I want Kim by my side.
