Then when we interviewed with her on zoom, I felt a strong connection and realized that she was the person we needed to guide us through the birth of our first baby. She eased my nerves about the induction process. She maintained contact connection through the days leading up to my induction, while providing educational information about the process. During my hospital stay, she offered me advice on procedures, and reminded me that my voice mattered, as I was in control of all the decisions leading up to the birth of our baby. Having her by our side helped my partner feel more comfortable and allowed him to take breaks when needed.
