We invited Claire to be a part of the birth of our first child, after meeting with her and feeling such a warm, caring and nurturing energy. We got to know her better over two prenatal visits and she helped prep us for birth through creating a comprehensive birth plan and walking us through birthing positions and other elements of what to expect. She was available by phone while I was in pre and early labor and helped us understand what was coming next and how to cope with symptoms as they arose. On the night of our daughter’s birth she was an amazing source of strength and encouragement for both me and my husband. She was spot on with her assessment of my progression through labor and helped us at ever turn to make decisions that would ultimately lead to the exact labor and birth I had hoped to have. After our daughter was born, Claire brought us nourishing and delicious food, and a care package to help with continued healing. We are so grateful to have been able to work with with Claire and will certainly ask her to be available for our next child, if we are so lucky.
