I honestly do not know how it would have been possible without Katherine. I was persuaded to get a birth doula by a friend, but I wasn't sure how it was gonna help. And boy was I wrong. We had a long, difficult, first delivery and hiring Katherine is the best decisions I've ever made. Being our first child, there were so many unknowns, shocks, and unexpected. Katherine was there for us every steps of the way to provide not only knowledge and her experiences, she quickly became a comfort for both myself and my husband when things got very emotional and difficult. Looking back I think her support allowed us to deal with all emotions that comes with a first difficult delivery. I highly recommend hiring Katherine as your birth doula.
