I can't even begin to fully describe the gratitude I have for Kristen. When I had my first child I did not have the childbirth experience that I hoped for. It was overwhelming and I didn't know what I didn't know. While I had some wonderful nurses, I had some not so great ones too. I thought i was prepared with my birth plan, but I could tell some nurses were not so supportive. For my second pregnancy, I knew I wanted to work with a doula. What a world of difference!! Having an advocate and support system in addition to my husband was what I needed all along. Kristen came prepared with her knowledge, tools, and a smile. My husband didn't feel helpless anymore and felt more confident having someone there for him as well. It was a night and day experience from my first to my second.
