I only have wonderful things to say about Jenica. She followed the plan I wanted perfectly and even brought to my attention aspects that I would have missed and not been prepared for if it were not for her. She helped distract me in early labor and was perfectly hands on for transition and active labor. She asked permission for touch and movement options. She knew exactly when to jump in and do what I needed when I was no longer able to speak during contractions. She advocated for me with nurses and doctors. I cannot think of one negative aspect of having her as my doula. I would recommend her to anyone. She’s not only capable but likable. She encouraged me and was the reason I was able to birth naturally like I wanted. When I felt like giving up it was her words and actions that brought me through, allowing me to have an unmedicated birth for my daughter.
