The arrival of our first child brought with it the typical sleepless nights and sharp learning curve. After a particularly long night we began to look for someone who could help us get through the stressful time, and found Mrs. Pedroza.
As Maritza’s first night approached, we were filled with the typical anxiety and questions; would our baby be okay? Would he take to her? Would she be able to watch him overnight and come out the other side in better shape than we were? From the moment of her arrival, she handled everything with aplomb, all those worries dropped away.
Her overall warmhearted demeanor, calm and warm, sweet and funny, fit our family to a “t,” comforting everyone. Our son adored her, the magic lady who could calm him down and put him to sleep no matter how much difficulty he was having.There were some days we were just looking to survive until her arrival, on those nights, and every other one she’s walked in and taken over care of the most important thing in our lives with absolute kindness and love.
Her extensive knowledge has been a north star as we tried to pilot our way through what is both the most important time and the one we’re least prepared for. She was generous with her time and expertise, allowing a new mother to ask all sorts of questions, providing sympathetic, in depth, and caring answersthat assuaged further worries.
Over time she met not only members of the household, but also grandparents and friends, everyone raves about her and the comfort that she exudes.
I cried on her final night, but know that she’s set us up for success. We would be happy to speak with anyone about our experience, and cannot recommend her enough.
