I highly recommend Hugs and Snugs! I worked with both Rachael and Mary who were both incredible at their jobs. I had help with a lactation consultation that was super helpful and both day and night postpartum Dulas after our twins were born. We also have a 5 year old so trying to navigate going from a family of 3 to a family of 5 was very challenging! I do not know how I would have survived those first few months without this support. Mary was my lactation consultant who gave me very helpful tips for breastfeeding in the comfort of my own home shortly after I came home from the hospital. She has a calm energy and is completely non-judgmental which put me at ease. She also provided postpartum Dula services with day and night support. I learned so many things from watching her with my babies. Rachael helped us with overnight care too and is incredible. She is super knowledgeable and also has a calm non-judgmental approach that puts you at ease. Rachael referred me to a pediatric dentist to have my daughter’s lip and tongue tie revised after having some difficulties with feeding. I wouldn’t have even considered this myself. Rachael also referred us to a pediatric chiropractor that was able to help with my son’s flat spot on his head and helped my daughter with digestion issues. As a result my daughter no longer is on medication for acid reflux and my son’s head is almost fixed (they’re 9 months old now). It was such a treat when they came. These women are like angels who were able to step in when I needed the support the most. Having twins is not for the faint of heart and after their support I felt so much more confident tackling this new life as a family of 5! I can’t recommend Hugs and Snugs enough, worth every penny!
