Amy was an amazing doula - she was our birth and postpartum doula. My birth definitely did not go according to plan as I ended up have a home birth (I suppose to have a VBAC at a hospital). Thankfully everything was okay and Amy was a calming presence during the entire birth. Amy was also excellent during my postpartum period. She knew exactly what we needed before even asking. She toddler to the park so we could get some quiet time (and it helped my toddler feel special too). She also made sure my water bottle was filled, made sure my husband and I both ate, tidied up the place, threw clothes in the laundry and cleared up my nursing stations. And paid attention to how our home functions. All the little things. Just amazing! It was so relaxing to have someone help me exactly how I needed it. Thank you so much Amy for everything!! You were such a special pet of this birth experience.
