We hired Diane for the birth of my firstborn and are so happy we did. Even though we decided a little late we wanted a doula (I think I was 30wks), Diane made it well worth it and did a great job preparing me and my husband for the birth process and gave us huge peace of mind.
When it was time for the baby, Diane came to our home for a while before we went to the hospital. She helped us make informed decisions about when to go and offered support in the way of suggesting different positions and just reminding me to breathe through it. She stayed with me through the whole birth process and remained a huge encouragement and support especially when my natural birth that I had planned became a medicated birth after 14 hours or labor. She checked in with us post partum too and you can tell how passionate she is about this throughout the whole process.
