My husband and I chose to do a home birth for our second born. We knew we wanted to hire a doula and hit the jackpot with hiring Marcia. We wanted to have extra support for having a baby at home. She helped us make sure we were doing everything we could to physically and mentally prepare for the birth as well as making sure we had success getting started breastfeeding. The night our baby was born, Marcia showed up and immediately started to provide support to both my husband and me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible when things got intense.
