We had a wonderful experience with Maira, who helped us during evenings for 8 weeks postpartum. She was warm and friendly and professional, always arriving on time. She attentively listened to our concerns and questions with patience and responded with helpful advice and specific steps to try. She also took into consideration our parenting style as well in making recommendations.
She was gentle and sweet with our daughter and seemed to always know how to soothe her. Our daughter had some gassy episodes, and Maira helped us troubleshoot those and taught us how to relieve them. As first-time parents, it was a comfort to have an expert helping navigate parenthood. And the extra sleep we were able to get enabled us to be more attentive with our baby during the day.
Initially, my husband and I were on the fence about working with a night doula, but after our experience with Maira, we can't imagine getting through those first couple months without her. We highly recommend her to any parents looking for a doula!
