Shelly continued to show just as much care and sensitivity during our homecoming as we adjusted to our new lives. She made an extra effort to ensure that we were mentally okay and reach our breastfeeding goals!
It was really important to us that we found someone that truly listened to our individual needs and understood us as a family. Shelly was able to do that with much grace and love. Any hesitation my husband had about having a doula was quickly replaced by reassurance that Shelly was an irreplaceable layer to our dynamic. When we have our second, Shelly will be there!
