I had a successful VBAC on 8/30/23 with Elissa as my birth doula. She did a wonderful job helping me get through labor. She was very helpful and attentive wether it was getting me more ice chips or rubbing my back and helping me get through a tough contraction. She was able to guide me through different labor positions and excercises in an effort to progress my labor, which was very helpful since it was very slow in the beginning. When it came time to push she was right there with me and my husband reminding me on the best push technique for my situation and cheering me on. She also asked the nurses and doctors things that helped me understand the process better and she was there to advocate for me to ensure everything that was being done was what I ok with. I am very happy my husband and I decided to enlist her help through our birth process. ??
