If there was one word I would use to describe Deborah Perdew, it would be magic. She has been my doula for two of my births and I cannot imagine the experience without her. She has the most calming presence, intuitive knowledge of what a woman in labor needs at that moment, and is the best champion and encourager of women.
Debbie knew exactly what I needed in my two births, though they were different. She has an undeniable gift for knowing how to help in the best way. I simply cannot say enough amazing things about her! She is an angel on earth and I am so lucky to be one of the women whose lives she has touched. I told her she can't retire because I'll never have another baby without her!
