I am a first-time mom and had a very positive and peaceful birth. Having Diane as my doula was vital to having such a great experience. I loved having her as apart of my birth team! During my pregnancy she was very attentive and was great at checking in with me to see if I had any questions. She adhered to my wishes for my birth plan and all of my requests for support. When I made the switch from early to active labor, Diane validated the intensity of my contractions and helped me make the decision to leave for the birth center. Upon arriving, Diane provided me with immediate support. The comfort she provided gave me confidence that I could get through each contraction and ultimately birth my daughter without pain management. Diane was there constantly reminding me to trust my body, relax my muscles/face, make low sounds, and would breathe with me whenever I got off rhythm. She was a fantastic doula and I highly recommend her for anyone's birth experience!
