I'm so happy that we had Ciara as our birth doula. I do not know how could have I done it without her. My labor was long and very hard. She was with me and my husband throughout the whole journey. She was very supportive, calm and collected when I was at the end of my rope and in so much pain I couldn't even undertsnd what doctors were saying. I know I would have different (worse) birth experience without Ciara by my side. In addition, Ciara was very attentive before labor (we had calls, exchange text messages and had couple video calls and in peroxide visit). I felt Ciara's support and couldn't have asked for more.
Also, postpartum was very hard for me. When I reached to Ciara about a week after birth, she came to our home and talked to me for almost 3h! She provided me support I needed, and helped me to understand what's happening and sort my feelings.
If you are looking for birth doula that will listen to you, support and be your advocate as well as be there for you when you need, you found her! Hiring Ciara was the best decision. I will for sure ask Ciara to be my birt doula for my 2nd baby (when the time comes).
