Michelle helped me through the pregnancy and delivery of my first child. Since this was my first time, I of course had questions about changes I was experiencing towards the end of my pregnancy and what was normal. Michelle was always available to call and answer my questions and make me feel comfortable. Although it was my first time, labor went very fast for me and it became difficult for me to process what was going on around me. Michelle was able to keep me calm, help with counter pressure and positioning to help with the pain. She also took my wants and my birth plan very seriously and was able to communicate to the hospital staff when I was caught up on contractions. She even took my husband to the side to talk to him when I was going into the final stage of labor, just to make sure he could know what to expect and how to help. Once baby was out Michelle was right by my side and helped me get the little one latched for the first time. You can research and take all the classes you want but having someone very experienced to help you through makes all the difference. If it wasn't for her, I don't think I would have been able to have the birthing experience that I wanted and I'm super grateful for that!
