Jade was the soul reason I was able to get through my entire labor and delivery! She was absolutely amazing to work. Jade provided me endless support, instruction and motivation throughout my 10+ hour labor. Choosing to try and have an unmedicated birth as a first time mom was scary and nerve wracking. Not know what to expect and just how real the pain is, was quite emotional. After having 2 weeks of prodromal labor I was induced at 39w5d and 5cm dilated. Once I was started on pitocin and my active labor started Jade was there and ready to work! As my surges (contractions) got stronger and stronger she was right there helping me cope, move, and redirect my energy. She was absolutely phenomenal with my husband and guiding him how to help me, and be there for me. About 5 hours my doctor broke my water (9cm dilated) and I pushed for 3.5 hours. During the first 5 hours Jade was preparing me for what was ahead, without me even knowing. Although those 3.5 hours were long and brutal, they were full of beautiful support and encouragement. I had no idea what to expect and I'm not going to lie and say it was easy. It was the hardest thing I've ever done, and I can gaurentee I would've never made it through without Jade by my side. The moment I got to hold my sweet 7lb baby girl, was the best moment of my life. I'm so thankful to have shared that with such an amazing person, Jade.
