Words cannot express how grateful I am for Elan. When I got pregnant, I knew right away I wanted a doula. I knew what my ideal birth looked like and the type of support I would need in hopes of achieving it. I actually had a hard time finding a doula in my area. Someone connected me with Elan and looking back, I know it was meant to be. From the day I met her, Elan's warmth and expertise was exactly what I was looking for. I felt so comfortable in her presence. During my pregnancy, Elan supported me and my husband by providing childbirth education and emotional support. She was always there to answer any questions or help ease my anxiety/concerns about birth. During my labor, Elan was a constant source of support, love, and knowledge to me and more-so to my husband. My husband was always supportive in hiring a doula and now raves about the importance of having one! I'm thankful for Elan's approach in empowering birth partners and not taking their place. I am so grateful that my husband felt supported and fully immersed in my birthing experience. They are memories I will cherish forever and I could not imagine my birth without Elan.
