This was my first pregnancy and I was determined to have an holistic approach, have a natural vaginal delivery with a positive mindset also. Melanie came right in and educated me on the things I never knew I needed. The eduacation on pregnancy, birth, hospital protocol etc were given to my husband and I. Melanie touched all areas including what prenantals to take and to this day I still take them because I've seen what great results were achieved because of them even when I was tired of taking them. When I went into labor Melanie was responsive and also made me feel at peace. After we labored at home Melanie met us at the hospital and she kept me focused even at times I didn't realize my focus was slipping. She knew everything about the delivery room and where to get certain birthing instruments, man she was phenomenal and that made my husband and I feel confident enough to focus on the moment of bringing our baby into this world. Melanie not only supported me but she ensured my husband was educated, listened and responded to any concerns he had and made him feel like he was part of the process which is what I wanted as well. My husband knew what exercises to do to help me get through those contractions and boy did they work!! After we welcomed our healthy baby girl via natural vaginal delivery Melanie was still there. My husband went to get us some food and she did not leave my side and answered any postpartum questions that I had. After we were home Melanie checked in, came over and we felt supported. Months have gone by and I still bother Melanie with questions and as usual she puts me at ease with her responses. It's not the responses with Melanie it's HOW she delivers them. There is no judgement, she always reminds you that you are an awesome person, she's the BEST. I will stop this long testimonial here because there is MUCH more that can be said.
