After we reached out to Terri, we had an initial video chat. She had a very calming presence and was extremely nonjudgmental. She gave thoughtful answers to all the questions we had during the call as well as our follow-up questions and was very knowledgeable. We met in person when we were 36 weeks pregnant and she guided us to think about things that we hadn't considered before. During the pre-delivery at-home visit, she gave us even more techniques to make the last month of pregnancy more comfortable and to prepare for labor. She helped us feel more confident about the delivery and checked in on me as the due date approached.
At the hospital, she was so helpful with pain management, respected all the decisions I made during labor and delivery, and adjusted her techniques and help to accommodate my needs at every moment. She also worked really well with the hospital staff. I believe her expertise and support were part of why the delivery went so well.
Terri took pictures during and after the delivery; the photos she sent and birth story she wrote for us were so beautiful and helped us remember what would have been an otherwise very blurry day,
She checked in on us in the postpartum period, continuing to provide support and directed us to resources that were very helpful with breastfeeding and surviving the postpartum period.
Terri cares very deeply for the people she works with; reaching out to her was one of the best decisions we made during this pregnancy. You won't regret hiring her.
