Terri supported me and my partner through the birth of our first child. I can't quite put into words how invaluable it was to have her by our sides. From emotionally and physically managing going a week past my due date, to supporting virtually during very early labor, arriving in the middle of the night to personally support labor and delivery, and helping to get the first breastfeeding latch, Terri was a calm and confident presence that made everything ok. She was able to help prepare to make decisions during labor and delivery (e.g., to break my waters) and provide us with time to think and deliberate before moving forwards. Terri was a huge help in physically supporting me throughout the birth in trying different positions, building a team with the nurses and even supporting them, feeding me broth and juice and water to keep me going, and being a smiling face I saw during pushing that kept me going. She went above and beyond by coming by my house early postpartum and discussing everything and visiting the baby and even typing up my birth story which I will keep forever. Would 100% recommend Terri for any birth situation (vaginal, c section, first child, 5th child)!
