Christine was an essential part of our positive birth experience. She was wonderful during early labor to help us know how to handle contractions and when to go to the birth center, and anticipated our needs during active labor. She made sure we had food, water, and cold wash cloths, so my husband could focus on helping me through contractions. She suggested different labor positions, adjusted lighting and lit candles to make the environment more soothing. She also took photos right after our baby was born with my husband’s phone, and kept detailed notes throughout labor, which were helpful afterwards for me to relive and process the timeline of our sweet baby’s birth.
It’s hard to put into words how much of an asset Christine was through the whole process. It provided peace of mind to have someone leading up to and during the birth who could answer our questions and guide us through this new experience.
