Kelly was an essential part of my birth team. I used Kelly for both of my births - both at hospitals (one at Shea, one at Banner UMC), and both unmedicated. Kelly is such a steadfast and knowledgeable doula - her presence and support at my birth gave me peace of mind and confidence. She works seamlessly with the hospital staff and helped me and my husband "fill in the gaps" as I moved between nurses, or when we were left alone in triage. She told me what to expect next and gave me clear and helpful directions so I could navigate the most challenging parts of birth. As I screamed "I can't!" Kelly told me I was strong, and that my baby was close - all the pain I felt was my baby. Kelly not only told me what to do when I needed that, but listened to my desires so I could have the birth I wanted. Kelly is so skilled at her job, it's hard to do her justice in a review post. On top of all the support you get prenatally and during birth, her photos are PRICELESS. I've come to learn that very few doulas in the valley offer the quality photos she does, and birth photographers charge way more. I highly recommend everyone have a doula, no matter your birth, and Kelly is extremely confident, kind, supportive, and helpful (physically, emotionally, in all ways!). It's a blessing that she is a part of both of my birth stories.
