Having Cara be a part of our birthing experience was the best decision my husband and I made. As first time parents, we were very much excited and after a lot of research we knew we wanted to try for an unmedicated birth. From our first interaction with Cara we knew we were in good hands.
She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, caring and most importantly supports which ever direction you'd like your labor and birth to go. Throughout my pregnancy and after she regularly checked in on us and encouraged us to ask questions and sent many helpful resources. She guided us through the experience, giving us the information we needed to make our own decisions with no judgement on our choices.
She was reliable when calling her during my early labor contractions. She guided me on exactly what to do. I ended up not experiencing water breakage or full labor on my own. I gave birth at a time (Covid) where only one person was allowed in the room which was my husband--but Cara was just a helpful call or text away to help him through my labor and delivery process. She is extremely conscientious of your partner/support person and personalizes the birthing experience to match your needs.
I ended up having to be induced but from there it was the unmedicated beautiful birth of my dreams. Happy to say I had a positive birth experience and Cara helped so much with making that happen for us.
We are so thankful for her and would recommend her over and over.
