I'm SO glad I chose to hire a doula and grateful to have met Cydney. Not having had a doula for my second pregnancy, I really felt that I needed one for my 3rd as I had a lot of anxiety and dread going into this birth. Cydney offered support and encouragement in the weeks leading up to the birth and checked in often. When it came time for labor, she was exactly what I needed when I got to day 2 of labor and felt myself hit a wall. She helped coach me through positions to help with progress, gave me caring encouragement and affirmed me through everything. I have zero regrets for making this the decision to have a doula this time and I really feel like it can be a game-changer for being able to stay at home to continue laboring instead of hitting a wall and giving up. So incredibly thankful for how she came alongside our whole family in the weeks we got to have her as part of our baby journey!
