Testimonial for Midwest Doulas- Doulas, Placenta Encapsulation
We had an amazing experience for the birth of our second child with Midwest Doulas. I worked with a doula with our first as my husband was not able to attend that birth. It ended up being a long delivery, but was still very positive thanks to our doula. So we knew we wanted to work with a doula again. We had the pleasure of working with Ale for a prenatal meeting and Justine during our birth and post partum. At 32 weeks we learned baby was breech. Ale and Justine were so great in providing guidance to try to turn baby, helping interpret what my midwife was suggesting and helping me feel at peace with whatever happened. I had an ECV at 37 weeks which Justine supported us through and helped us feel comfortable with the process. Justine again guided us through our options when it was recommended we induce at 39 weeks. She supported us during delivery with comfort techniques, helping us understand our options and keeping my birth preferences in mind. With Justine's support I was able to have an unmedicated birth as I had hoped to. We're so happy we made the decision to work with Midwest Doulas!
