Denise was an essential part of our labor and delivery. As a first-time mom, I was nervous, but Denise provided the strategies and confidence I needed to have the natural birth we desired. Not only was she a great support for me, but she guided my husband in such a direct and encouraging way that our birth remained a very special moment in our marriage... something we did very much together as a couple.
Despite going in for an induction, I was able to keep a positive outlook because of Denise's encouragement. I remained calm trusting my body and, after a dose of cytotec, my body took over and carried us through to meeting our little girl with no further medical intervention or medicine! Denise coached me through each contraction and provided many different positions in which to labor and keep things progressing. Denise served as an encourager and advocate anticipating medical procedures and helping us make informed decisions. Her care and attention were perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
