Testimonial for Deanna Snow
Deanna was my doula for my birth in May of 2023. She met with me several times before my due date and gave me a lot of documents and other resources to help me prepare for a psychological birth. She went over what to expect during each stage of labor as well as coping mechanisms. She helped to calm my anxieties and worry by assuring my of my body’s capabilities by God’s design to give birth. She does so in such a maternal, comforting way. I could sense the Holy Spirit’s presence from her, and I felt strengthened and calm just by being around her. Her touch was so comforting in labor; she gave me hip squeezes, spoke affirms to me, helped hold pressure points and helped me try different positions in labor. Her presence made me feel very secure, I liked having someone in the hospital room with me the whole time who could help me through each stage.
Deanna stayed for a while after the baby was born and provided emotional support. She was also available by text anytime I had a question and was very helpful by recommending resources during pregnancy and after birth. She also checked in with me after birth and continue to text me and send me resources for additional services and pediatricians.
I recommended Deanna to a friend as well, and she chose her as a doula. I’m very happy with the services she provided and the care she gave my husband and I! She was such a blessing to our family.
