I was in considerable pain during labour and delivery. Bri was such a strong support for both my husband and I. I am typically a fairly private person but during that moment in time, it was the last thing I cared about. I didn't think I would want/need physical support but boy was I wrong. When she saw how much pain I was in she offered her hand and it was exactly what I needed. She was constantly assessing the situation, offering various support such as the TENS machine, combs, her hand and sips of water. She squeezed my hand during contractions and was so versatile in providing whatever support I needed.
I guarantee this will be one of the most vulnerable times in a woman's life. The more support you and your partner have the better. Having her assistance in both preparing for and day of delivery was so pivotal in having the best experience possible.
