Char helped us bring both of our baby girls to the world. For our first, I wasn't committed to getting an epidural or not. I just wanted to see how it went. I did end up getting the epidural and so when we got pregnant with our second, I wasn't sure if I needed a doula or not since most likely I was going to get an epidural again. Char sent me a lot of information on medicated births and doulas and so I did decide to hire her for my second birth. I am so happy I did! She was abosolutely wonderful during my first birth, but my second birth solidifed my decision to hire her for any future children we may have. She helped me get into different positions to better position the baby to drop- since her head was at an angle and I was having a lot of back labor. She was absolutely great and I am so glad she was in the room with us for both of our babies births!
