She helped me achieve the unmedicated birth I so badly wanted and needed!
I did not have a doula with my first baby and can honestly say it’s 1000x better. Just do it.
Even with my doctor saying he wouldn’t be home in time for dinner when I wanted to hold off a little longer to artificially break my water…. *insert eye roll emoji* Meredith coached me through labor and I gave birth without an epidural even though I had to be medically induced with pitocin! I was so proud of myself and thankful that my husband and I had Meredith there.
