Melanie is the most incredible human, friend, and doula we could ask for! She was the single best decision we made the whole pregnancy -- and by hiring her early in the process, we were able to build a wonderful relationship right from the start. In particular, I really appreciated that I could reach out to Melanie via text or phone whenever I had a question, no matter how minute. (Plus, she is hilarous, so that's a bonus!) Melanie does a great job of offering evidence-based information and supporting you in making your own decision. She spent so much time helping to prepare us for labor, showing us counter pressure positions to allevieate discomfort, and just generally managing expectations in a way that made the whole process smooth and calm. Seriously, Melanie is an amazing doula, a wonderful human, and we're so lucky to have her in our lives now!
