Nicole was an integral piece to our family's smooth pregnancy and birth. I knew essentially nothing about pregnancy, childbirth, or preparing for twin babies. We had no idea what went into planning for an "ideal" birth or what a doula really did. Nicole guided us through everything we needed to know. She is warm and kind - two attributes were immensely helpful while preparing for such a lifechanging event. Thanks to her care, my pregnancy was cozy and comforting. Every referral for care came with a personal connection - every single provider that she referred me to was phenomenal. I ended up making it all the way to my 38 week (twins) due date for a planned C-section. She helped us advocate for our preferences in the hospital, comforted me during the C-section (which was scarier than I thought it would be), and helped to get my twin boys latched and nursing within minutes after their birth. I can't understate how meaningful all of those things were to us. Her presence at our birth allowed my partner to fully take in the experience of becoming a father for the first time rather than worrying about my needs. We are so grateful to have had Nicole's presence and experience every step of the way.
