I highly recommend Maria! As a first-time mom I was looking for additional support throughout my birth and by hiring Maria I received much more than that! Maria helped my husband and me navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She worked with me to better understand birth and to prepare my body for birth, and she walked us through creating a birth story that clearly communicated our desires for an all-natural birth. On the day of birth, Maria was insightful, caring, direct, and supportive. She guided my husband and me through positions and supported me emotionally. I also had to be transferred post-birth from the birth center to the hospital and Maria did not hesitate to go with me for support as my husband stayed back to have our son discharged from the birth center. During our postpartum visit, we were able to process the birth in a healthy and safe way. I would highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and supportive doula!
