As a first time mom and never having experienced labor, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was originally scheduled for a C-section due to prior medical complications, but ultimately decided I wanted to experience a vaginal birth. Lauren helped me devise a plan on what I wanted my birthing experience to look like and I can’t imagine not having her support throughout the entire process. I can say without a doubt that she made it possible for me to labor/deliver naturally without any pain medication interventions or epidural. She is a phenomenal doula and holds space so gracefully during the difficult moments of pain and when you feel like giving up.
