Joli was an amazing doula! We had a pretty difficult doctor to deal with, as our original one moved in our last trimester. Joli made sure we always felt informed and comfortable throughout the whole process of being our doula. It empowered us to speak up for ourselves in our birth experience at the hospital, especially when we felt like we didn't know what to do, or when we felt doctors were trying to make decisions for us. I couldn't imagine our birth experience without her. From all the evidence based information, general years of knowledge, massage techniques, troubleshooting our baby into the correct position, and all the great connections she already had at the hospital we went to, in such a hectic few days, she definitely brought calm to the storm. We left feeling like we did our absolute best, and that's all I ever wanted with my birth experience! We are so happy we went with her.
