I don’t know how to out into words how grateful I am for Elise’s support and guidance through the birth of our daughter. I had a long labor and I felt as though my husband and Elise worked just hard as I did to bring our baby earth side! Elise was full of knowledge about different positions to keep things flowing and was such a great advocate for the wishes we had for our labor. She knew the right questions to ask and she had a great rapport with the hospital staff, which was very helpful. Things got very scary right after our daughter made her entrance and Elise stepped in embodied the meaning of what a doula is. She stood right by me, gently whispered in my ear that everything would be ok. I fully leaned on her in that moment and she was a rock. A true safe harbor midst the storm.
