The support, recommendations and interaction she provided throughout pregnancy in addition to her calm presence, support, expertise and advocacy assistance through a complicated birth were invaluable. After feeling out of control with our first, Jackie helped us manage a more complicated birth while feeling much more positive and at peace, despite it not going as we hoped, to get our healthy baby. Love that she makes gentle suggestions that allowed us to drive the whole process rather than pushing something. She helped us feel more in enabled and in charge of our birth experience despite the circumstances we couldn’t control and she read the room well. It was so helpful to have someone knowledgeable that we trusted throughout the process to bounce things off of and help us think through decisions we were making. We will absolutely use her again in the event of another pregnancy. Would consider her a friend in addition to our hired doula! Highly recommend.
